Steve Forbert Video Interview - New Album & A Few Surprises

DittyTV senior editor Tim W. Jackson caught up with folk rocker Steve Forbert for nice in-depth 26 minute video interview, which includes Steve's new Blue Rose Music album Early Morning Rain, an upcoming music video debut, a little social distancing and his cameo in the Cyndi Lauper music video Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. This Wednesday night DittyTV will debut Steve's music video Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues on Campfire. The video is directed and edited by Thomas Parr, and the song from Steve's new album was originally a hit for Danny O'Keefe in 1972, and has remained one of Steve's favorites ever since. "I always liked it because it was well written, and it rang true, " says Steve. "Right now, however, the lonesome lyrics seem to sync up with the self-quarantine of the Coronavirus strangeness of daily life." Early Morning Rain is available HERE.
