Relix: Video Premiere - Jackie Greene “Fragile and Wanting”

Guitarist and singer-songwriter Jackie Greene release his latest album, The Modern Lives Vol. 2, this past fall, and today we premiere the video for one of the tracks from that effort, “Fragile and Wanting.” “Like most romantics, I’ve always been a sucker for a sappy ballad,” Greene tells Relix. “Especially the kind you listen to privately, on headphones. This is that type of song—meant to be enjoyed alone, on headphones. But, if you end up blasting it in your car while you cruise around on the weekend, that’s cool too. You might get some funny looks, though.” Watch the new video below. Greene plays this weekend with Joan Osborne at Michigan’s Ann Arbor Folk Festival and is also set to join Phil Lesh’s 79th birthday celebration at The Capitol Theatre in mid-March.
