JamBase: Chris Robinson Brotherhood Performs ‘If You Had A Heart To Break’ For ‘Sun Studio Sessions’ Television Show

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood will appear on an upcoming episode of the musical performance series Sun Studio Sessions as part of the program’s 10th season. Sun Studio Sessions is filmed at Sun Studios in Memphis, the legendary facility where artists such as Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and BB King recorded some of their best known work. Vocalist/guitarist Chris Robinson, keyboardist Adam MacDougall, drummer Tony Leone and bassist Jeff Hill were joined by guitarist Greg Loiacono, who was filling in for Neal Casal as Casal was on a brief sabbatical from the band at the time of the filming. Loiacono and Robinson are band mates in the Green Leaf Rustlers project.
The CRB episode of Sun Studio Sessions premieres this week in several markets, including Memphis, Nashville, Los Angeles, Fargo, Kansas City, Asheville, Charlotte, Birmingham, Norfolk, Indianapolis, San Antonio, Scranton, Dayton, Salt Lake City, Corpus Christi and Atlanta. Look for the episode to air in additional markets throughout the rest of 2019. Fans are urged to check local public television and PBS station listings for air dates.
