Co-founded by songwriters/vocalists/guitarists Tim Bluhm and Greg Loiacono, The Mother Hips have a fanbase established over a career spanning two decades. Poletto says, "The Mother Hips are an incredibly talented group and we are honored to have them on board. We could not be more excited for the future of their 'California Soul' sound with Blue Rose Music."
The band performs their first show in over a year at the Great American Music Hall on December 15, 16 with a matinee set for December 17 at Slim's.
Greg Loiacono says, "These holiday shows have always been a special end of the year celebration with our family, friends and fans. This year in particular as it is our first time playing together since New Year's Eve 2016." Frontman Tim Bluhm has been recovering from a paragliding accident and is eager to get back on stage. "It's been a challenging couple of years for me. The guys and I are really happy that I get to return to doing shows in such a celebratory setting," says Bluhm.

About The Mother Hips:
The Mother Hips, the center of which is the duo of Tim Bluhm (vocals/guitar) and Greg Loiacono (guitar/vocals), have spent over two decades writing, recording and performing songs, and die-hard fans who still talk about their “first Hips show,” have hung on every word and have enabled The Mother Hips to become a bona fide cottage industry. The band was even able to lay claim to a rock subgenre, “California Soul”.
