A blast from the past for Hips fans. Two records are coming out of the vault and are available to livestream on July 24th @ 6 PM Pacific time! Released on the legendary Rick Rubin's American Recordings in 1995 and 1996, these two beloved Hips' albums captured the sound of a rock and roll movement that swept the nation in the early ’90s.
More great music during a time of pandemic. In the midst of COVID, and social distancing, the re-release of these two records to streaming after over two decades is great news. The Mother Hips fans and their extended music community can finally experience the power and vulnerability of the records that cemented the band’s name in California music history.
Part-Timer Goes Full and Shoot Out launched The Mother Hips into a reputable music career with spellbinding live performances, building a dedicated fan base and appearing on bills with the likes of Johnny Cash, Lucinda Williams and The Black Crowes.
