Steve Forbert released his debut album in 1978, Alive On Arrival. Forbert has released 20 albums throughout his career with his upcoming album, Early Morning Rain being his first of all covers. This album is a tribute to all of the amazing songwriters that have inspired him throughout his career. Forbert has had his own songs covered by many including Keith Urban and Rosanne Cash. In 2016, he was inducted into the Mississippi Musician’s Hall of Fame and in 2020 was awarded the Mississippi Governor’s Arts Award.
